TA DA!

The Dissertation is done!
and now I am out of excuses for not having a job, well, I'm going to have the rest of the week off any way, and then the weekend in Bournemouth, and I'll probably be a bit tired when i get back so...

I got my other course marks through the other day (very nearly a distinction but I'm happy!) so now it's plain sailing till graduation (April 2007). Looking forward to having this chapter done with and getting on with life.

This time it's war!

For those of you who are fans of the cute and fluffy, you may feel some empathy at this. Seeing as our resident felines, Smokey & Bandit are very much out and about cats (well, at night anyway, they are typical teenagers during the day!)so they tend to bring little friends back to stay...

Having been driven slightly mad this time round dad and i declared full out war on the fleas (including some very fetching flea collars for the cats that will make them the social outcasts of the cat community) and fumigated the house.

As with all forms of war fare there are downsides and as retaliation the fleas opted for 'Poisoning the Fran'. Just feeling a bit woozy at the moment and hoping it will pass. Always read the label and use only in well ventilated areas. On the upside we have seen no fleas since!

Thanks to those of you who made it J's 'Black and White birthday do' on friday. I had a great time and i know J enjoyed meeting up and seeing such a range of people in one place.

The dress code was black and white, the decoration was black and white and yes, even the food!



(for those of you that were there, yes we did forget to do the cake but if it's any consolation it tasted great! :p

The Great Orange Debate

So, my sister is getting married next year and i have been roped into being bridesmaid. This is not an issue. The fact that she is insisting i get a fake tan for the photos however, is. Should i stick by my personal right to choose the colour of my body or should i give in seeing as (this week) it is the most important thing to her in preparation for her big day?
